Three Step Method:     Zen Words

Let’s begin acclimating ourselves to the world of Zen by looking into a number of quotes from Zen masters ancient and modern. Each is a glimpse into the spiritual mystery, each offers an entry point into the Zen Dimension. Spend a few moments with each one, carefully considering what it means to you. If it means nothing at all, acknowledge that, too.

“Only don’t know.” – Master Seung San

“You will see with the same eye as the ancient Zen masters.” – Master Mumon

“Do you hear the sound of the stream outside? Enter Zen from there.” – Master Gensha

“What is the holiest truth of Buddhism? Vast and clear, no holiness.” - Bodhidharma
